Axon Welcomes New Team Members

Axon has appointed Skip King to the position of Managing Director and Beth LaPointe to the position of Director of Business Development.

Skip brings more than twenty years of experience in advertising, copywriting and public relations experience to the firm. He currently owns and operates Reputation Strategies, LLC, an award-winning Portland-based public relations and strategic communications firm focusing on promotional public relations, issues and crisis communications management. Prior to forming Reputation Strategies in 2002, he served as Vice President of Communications for American Skiing Company.

Skip will oversee all daily operations at Axon. Reputation Strategies will continue to operate independently, with that company’s services augmenting Axon’s marketing communications and public relations services.

Beth has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales. She owned and operated a supply business for 15 years and brings special expertise in helping clients identify new revenue streams. She also offers extensive experience in sports and events including 24 Hours of Adrenalin, Gravity Games, the 2002 Olympics and the NYC Marathon. Beth will concentrate on business development in New England and New York City.
