Spring 2009 Grant Winner
June 4, 2009Axon would like to congratulate the New York City Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH) for winning our latest $7,500 bi-yearly grant. NYCCAH is a nonprofit organization in New York City that helps meet the food needs of low-income New Yorkers and works with them to gain self-sufficiency beyond the soup kitchens and food pantries.
Axon will be working with NYCCAH to update and re-design the booklet for their 'Emergency Food Program Starter Kit.' The current 60 page booklet was created in 2002 and is a guide to starting and operating non-profit food pantries and soup kitchens in New York City. NYCCAH believes that the current booklet is too basic and that an update will create a more inspiring and passionate response. Axon is looking forward to helping better communicate this great cause!
Axon's Grant Program was established in 2004 to give back to the community while helping non-profit organizations better understand the influence a quality design and marketing program can be in achieving their mission. Axon has pledged to donate $7,500 worth of services to one non-profit organization bi-annually.
The next deadline for applications is August 15, 2009. Please apply online by visiting the Axon Grant Program page.
