Impulse is Axon's new Content Management System (CMS). It allows you to add and control features on your website - which is hugely important, because timely, updated content attracts traffic encourages repeat visitors.

Impulse provides simple administration functions customized to your site. A straightforward, form-based interface makes updating things like news, events, and video effortless.

Impulse is also a modular concept, which means that you can add capabilities as your needs change and your budget allows.

Here are some recent Impulse sites:

Trillium Diagnostics, LLC - Trillium is a growing biotech company that wished to increase market awareness, develop additional distributors and produce more sales. Their existing site didn't allow them update their product listing or change other important information.

The solution: Impulse offers a Content Module, which creates a flexible content and allows limitless. This module was integrated within Trillium's existing site so that Trillium can create new pages and highlight their key products and services.

The Maine Heritage Policy Center - The Maine Heritage Policy Center (MHPC) is a long-standing client of Axon and launched a redesign of their site last year. So much has changed on the web in the last year that MHPC wanted to enhance functionality.

MHPC wanted to highlight important ballot initiatives and desired the flexibility to edit and add to that content. They also wanted to easily add videos and add captions to their images.

The solution: MHPC's website was upgraded to Axon's Impulse software. This seamless upgrade provided an array of new capabilities, including the ability to handle videos, captioning all resources, and custom text formatting of entries. The site was enhanced further by integrating each initiative with a pre-existing resource library. This custom integration provides a powerful one-stop page for users to easily gather needed information.

Air Con, Inc. - (To be launched December 2009) Air Con, Inc. is a HVAC contractor in New Jersey that lacked web presence. They needed a website that clearly presents their services and demonstrates expertise in their market area.

The solution: Axon created a new logo, a web design and incorporated Impulse's Media Library Module with a filter to separate "Current Projects" and "Completed Projects." Each Media Library entry allows for unlimited documents, images, videos, audio files, and links. The entries can be added, edited, and deleted whenever Air Con requires, allowing them to feature detailed descriptions of past jobs and add new ones.

Shawnee Peak - Shawnee Peak Ski Area is one of Axon's longest-standing clients. Axon will launch their new site, which has been redesigned and is being upgraded to the Impulse system, within the next week.

Shawnee Peak required an updated design that was better aligned with the culture of the mountain. They wanted to showcase more of their photography within the site template and in a gallery. They also required social media integration.

The solution: Axon created a web design that uses rotating, beautiful images to convey Shawnee Peak's culture. Axon added News, Content, Calendar, and Gallery modules. Axon's Gallery module allows Shawnee Peak to easily upload, thumbnail, and caption unlimited images. The galleries can be featured on the home page and can also include YouTube videos. Links to Shawnee Peak's social media appear on every page of the site among the simple, clean design that allows users to focus on the content and imagery.
