Creating copy specifically targeted toward effective search engine placement was a key element in the development of www.grownewleaves.com. Tracking programs were installed to monitor the traffic and page stickiness.
Additionally, Axon improved the functionality of the site by implementing a contact management system. With e-newsletters regularly being sent using Constant Contact, New Leaves is able to see who has opened and responded to the e-newsletter and, consequently, refine their contact list and take alternative approaches if necessary.
One such approach was the development of a direct mail campaign, designed specifically drive traffic to the Web site, with each card geared towards a separate audience.
We researched and purchased targeted lists that are broken down geographically, by income, home value, PC owner and even gender. The Web site statistics will show us an increase in traffic after each mail drop date, therefore gauging a response rate.
To cover all communication, we advised our client to change their voice mail message to include the programs advertised on the post cards. The design was kept consistent with that of the Web site and has helped the client create a strong, clear brand identity.
