
BioProcessing Inc. is a primary manufacturer of specialized raw materials for use in medical diagnostic equipment. Their product line includes novel tumor marker proteins, monoclonal antibodies and diagnostic control serums for clinically approved immuno-assays. In addition, BioProcessing Inc. provides Contract Hybridoma and large-scale Cell Culture services for the Biotechnology Industry.
With the twin goals of focusing and supporting its sales efforts, and providing marketing strategy and planning for their expansion ambitions, BioProcessing Inc. retained Axon Design & Marketing in 2004.
The primary goal for BioProcessing Inc. was to create a new corporate identity. This included the design and execution of: a new logo, brochure, catalog, trade show graphics; as well as a completely new web site with a database functionality that enabled them to showcase all their dozens of products.
In the second phase of the project, Axon Design & Marketing provided brand development counsel and design for BioProcessing Inc.’s new Cell Culture services division, BioReactions. This included a comprehensive brand strategy, a logo for the new business unit, and printed collateral to support the new entity.
Since the launch of their BioReactions service identity, BioProcessing Inc. has had more inquiries and have sent out more quotes over the past two years than they did in the previous three. (Since 2000, their business has been growing at an average of 15% per year).
Another key component to the program is the creation of signage for BioProcessing Inc.’s new location. They have recently relocated to a larger, more visible facility, and have requested eye-catching images to enable BioProcessing Inc. to become more visible in the community.
BioProcessing Inc. estimates that they have saved the equivalent of employing a full-time marketing person over a two-year period. Axon Design & Marketing’s ideas, concepts and execution have allowed BioProcessing Inc. to be more efficient with their marketing dollars.
